Tunnel Segment Lifting Beam
Conquip were approached by our customer to produce a lifting beam for moving and placing tunnel lining segments.The brief was to increase operational efficiency and safety when carrying out this everyday task in the precast tunnel segment storage yard, on this major project close to the Uk's South Coast.
Working closely with the on-site Engineering Team, Conquip produced a universal lifting beam for use with either a crane or forklift. The finished product achieves maximum flexibility in its everyday use with its multiple lifting eyes and chain options. The unit was supplied complete with shackles, chains and Deha lifting clutches along with all necessary certification.
